Marketing Manager

Job Description

About

This role sits inside a top-producing Los Angeles real estate team brokered by REAL, working across Playa Del Rey, Playa Vista, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Bel-Air, and Beverly Hills. Marketing is central to how the team wins listings: sellers see the marketing plan before they sign, so what this role produces is part of the pitch, not an afterthought. The Marketing Manager owns listing marketing operations end to end, briefs a Production Specialist and outside vendors, and makes sure every launch reaches the market on the date the seller was promised.

This is dedicated, full-time work designed for meaningful impact, stability, and professional growth. You will have real ownership over the marketing calendar, the channels, and the seller-facing reporting, with the support of a production team, established vendors, and a leadership team that treats marketing as a core part of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own listing marketing from launch to close: build the marketing plan, set the launch date and delivery schedule, brief the Production Specialist and outside vendors, and stay accountable for the launch happening on the date the seller was promised.

  • Run Instagram and Facebook, the monthly newsletter, and paid listing promotion; decide what goes out and when, and approve every piece before it publishes.

  • Own the seller report template and review every report before it reaches a seller, with reports going out biweekly during active listing periods and at each milestone.

  • Coordinate photographers, videographers, printers, sign companies, and the website vendor: book them, hold them to deadlines, and check the work before an agent or client sees it.

  • Deliver a monthly one-page performance report to James covering spend by listing and channel, lead volume by source, what shipped, what is behind, and what you recommend changing.

  • Maintain brand standards across everything that goes out, including correct DRE and compliance language, and own the reference sheet and template library.

  • Run a monthly channel and spend review, and ship one documented system or template improvement each month.

  • Write the brief for CRM, website, or automation work handed off to vendors or a contractor, rather than building those systems yourself.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years running marketing for a real estate team, a brokerage, or another business where marketing supports a sales team (must-have).

  • Track record of managing a calendar with several projects running at once and hitting the dates (must-have).

  • Experience briefing and managing outside vendors, including photographers and printers (must-have).

  • Comfortable directing AI tools such as Claude and Canva to produce first drafts, then editing to a standard; no need to build automations (must-have).

  • Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to join a seller call and walk through a marketing plan (must-have).

  • Experience with HeyGen or similar AI video tools preferred.

  • Familiarity with real estate compliance and MLS requirements preferred.
